What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, fill out information during the checkout process, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

You may visit our site anonymously, however when ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information if you are placing an order.   If you create an account with a password, you automatically give us your information so we can store your previous orders and help you track your order history, make reordering simpler.  We do not store your credit card data - we never have and do not ever plan to.  You will need to re-enter your credit card information every visit.  

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.  Note that this may apply across our various online stores, as they do complement each other and it is possible the email lists could be combined to facilitate operations.

How do we protect your information?

We offer the use of a secure server connection. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.  We will retain your email address and contact information, of course for emails, tracking updates, confirmations, etc. 

Do we use cookies?

Yes.  Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart.  If you leave items in your shopping cart and have placed your name, email, or other identifying information, we will contact you to remind you that you have items in your cart and have not completed checkout.   Please note that we have an autoresponder that will send emails to you and the fact that you get a reminder is not so much as you being on a list, but you having stored our information in your computer as a cookie.   We do not use this for any purpose other than trying to complete the sale with you, but if you do not delete the cookies, you may get repeated reminders to complete the checkout process.   It is your responsibility to remove the cookie from your computer by clearing your browser cache/history, etc.   Remember, you are not on an email list, but your computer is talking to our computer via that cookie and that is triggering the reminder email.  
By using our website, you agree to being reminded by us via email to complete your incomplete order as long as you have cookies enabled and have our cookie on your computer from a particular visit to our site. This is different than a CAN SPAM request, as this is not an email list, but a server communication algorithm.  A "Remove" request might not be sufficient, as this is not an email list.  You must clear your computer cache/history to remove this reminder.   Note that if you call / email us, we will try to delete it for you, but it is possible you have more than one session/visit and the shopping cart session we delete may not be the only one active. 

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
