Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order
confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it
constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Wire Barn reserves the
right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order
for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Credit Cards
We accept the following credit cards: Visa,
MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit
card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address
and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank
has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing
your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.
Failure to provide real names and phone numbers may result in your order being
canceled due to suspicion of fraud. If you are shipping to an address
that is NOT the same as your billing address on file with your credit card
company you must provide us with a real phone number so we can verify your
order. Failure to provide a correct and accessible phone number or email
that results in an order cancellation win incur the fee portion we pay not
being refunded to your card in the event we suspect fraud and are unable to
contact you. Our company has lost money to credit card fraud,
therefore if you place an order you agree to provide real/accurate names and
real/accurate billing addresses, etc. i.e. the information that the
issuing credit card company uses to identify and communicate with you regarding
your account with them. In such cases where the customer fails to
provide real/accurate information, a portion of the charge will be retained to
cover the fees we pay to the processor and credit card company. We will
only retain the portion to cover our actual fees associated with canceling the
transaction. If we cancel the transaction prior to the transaction
settling, there will be no charge.
Money Orders, Cashier’s
Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks,
and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a
money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow
up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is
processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds
clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Time --
Wire Barn strives to ship all orders as soon as possible.
Orders received by 12PM (Noon) EST will typically ship the same day; although
this is typical, we do not guarantee it, although that is our goal and usual
practice. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by
prior arrangement. Unless otherwise specified, we reserve the right to
ship using any method. We typically ship USPS Priority Mail; Delivery
confirmation constitutes receipt of product. Any damage or problems with a
delivery/shipment must be reported to Wire Barn within 3 business days. For
returns, please see our return policy page; an RMA is required for all returns.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any
shipping or transit time offered to you by Wire Barn or other parties
only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid
delays caused by shipping or product availability.
Out of Stock Products --
We will ship your product as it becomes available.
Multiple Product Orders
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to
ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are
unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available,
unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained
in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be
charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The
entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped
on a multiple shipment order.
Taxes
WireBarn will automatically charge and withhold the
applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same
state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all
sales taxes or other taxes.
Returns
All product returns must be postmarked within 14 days of
receipt; buyer to pay return shipping cost. Returns may be subject
to a 10% restocking/re-measuring fee - it is our sole discretion as to whether
or not you will be charged a restocking fee. Refunds will NOT include
fees that we do not get back from Paypal or our Credit Card Processor.
Returns will be in the form of either refund or store credit for
all returns within 14 days. Returns after 14 days will be at the
sole discretion of Wire Barn.
NOTE: Paypal and our Credit Card Processor do NOT
refund to us the fees on your purchase. We now charge you the
processing fee on the portion of any refund so that we do not lose money on
refunds any longer. We don't mind offering refunds when you change your
mind, but we should not be on the hook for fees on a transaction that never
actually ends up taking place.
No returns on quantities over 5K Feet of any color/gauge of
wire without prior written authorization. Restocking fees may apply in
either case. In the case of larger orders please understand that we
purchase quantities that we cannot return and while we eventually could sell
all of it, it may have to sit on the warehouse floor for a considerable time
which increases risk of aging/damage, etc. In most cases we won't
accept returns on the larger quantities unless it's something we think we'll
move fast.
No returns/refunds on Battery, Welding Cable, or Trailer Cable on
lengths under 10 FT. Lengths over 10 FT are still subject to a
restocking fee up to 30%.
The reason is that it is difficult, if not impossible to
find another customer to purchase an odd length. 25 FT is a fairly
commonly requested length. However lengths of 22 FT for example, is
not common and we would likely never sell a portion of that.
We made this policy ONLY after having small returned
cuts sit on a shelf for over a year and never sell.
No returns/refunds on any wire that has been cut, used, dirtied, or
damaged. No partial refunds for unused portions of product.
No refunds on non-stocked items / special order
items.
No returns on
striped wire unless it's an uncut 25FT, 50FT, or 100FT and restocking fees will
apply. It's not really for restocking. It's because we might never
sell that length to anyone else or in order to sell it, we may need to cut it
down and potentially end up scrapping some of it. It's very difficult to
sell some stripe combinations.
You must request an RMA number prior to returning product.
If product shows signs of having been used, cut, stripped,
or otherwise damaged, refund will be denied.
Any damage/missing items must be reported within 3 business
days of receipt for adjustment to be made. Fulfillment mistakes
that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be
accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase.
Customs Fees, VAT TAX,
Other Delivery Charges, Non-Delivery, Refused Delivery
WireBarn does NOT pay duties, customs fees, or VAT tax for
any country. This is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
In the event that the carrier attempts to back-charge us, you agree to
pay any all of these fees. Should we be charged for any of these fees,
you the buyer authorize us to charge your credit card that was use for the
original purchase. If you used PayPal you agree to reimburse us for the
fees via PayPal or other means.
If you refuse a delivery you will pay the return postage
fees. If the shipment is returned to us for any reason (refusal to
pay customs fees, refusal to accept delivery, etc) the return shipping
cost and all fees will be deducted from any refund amount and any amount
remaining will be refunded to you via original method of payment.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due
to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our
suppliers, WireBarn shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders
placed for product listed at the incorrect price. WireBarn shall
have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has
been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already
been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, WireBarn
shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of
the incorrect price

Cut Tolerances for Wire
Lengths
Cut tolerances are generally +/- 5% on all cut lengths.
Typical accuracy is much better, and the cuts are usually a little on the long
side. On a typical 25 foot length, we usually are within a few
inches. On longer lengths, spools may have a loose end buried in
the spool. A loose end is where the master spool ran out and a new spool
was started. This does not affect the overall length of wire, but there
is a tie point where the new and old wire spools were joined together.
Order Cancellations
Orders that are cancelled due to no fault of WireBarn.com
will incur the actual credit card or PayPal fees that we incur. In other
words, you will pay the fees that we would otherwise get stuck with after your
cancel your order. This includes orders canceled due to suspected fraud
in cases where the customer has failed to provide their actual/accurate billing
address and contact information that the bank uses for contact, billing, and
communications.
Paypal charges 3.5% for US orders and 4.5% for International
orders. If your cancellation is due to a change in pricing or
increase in shipping charges, we will not charge you. If, however,
you merely change your mind, you will be charged the processing fee and this
will be deducted from your final refund. If you cancel your order
because you have paid with PayPal and are trying to ship to a different address
than the PayPal address on file (the Paypal address listed in the payment
details) you will be charged the fees as well. We are not authorized to
ship to anything except your registered PayPal address in the payment details
that PayPal sends us.
Other Conditions
These Conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions
you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether WireBarn signs them
or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these
Conditions at any time.
